    Description

    Betty Lynn (b.1926) is a retired actress, best known for her role as Thelma Lou, Deputy Barney Fife's girl friend on "The Andy Griffith Show", which she played from 1960-1966. She had also appeared in films beginning in 1948 with "Sitting Pretty", as well as 1950's "Cheaper by the Dozen", and "Payment on Demand". Ms. Lynn retired from acting in 2006, and was inducted into the Missouri Walk of Fame in 2007. She also appeared in numerous TV series, including "M-Squad", "Wagon Train", "Texas John Slaughter" (8 episodes in season 2 & all of season 3). She also appeared in 7 episodes of "My Three Sons" (1967-1970), and appeared on "Matlock in 1986.
